Learn how to perform forward shoulder rotations correctly to improve mobility, reduce stiffness, and warm up your upper body with this simple guide.

How to Perform

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and keep your arms hanging naturally at your sides.
  2. Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine with your gaze fixed straight ahead.
  3. Lift your shoulders upward toward your ears in a shrugging motion.
  4. Rotate your shoulders forward in a smooth arc, bringing them toward the front of your chest.
  5. Continue the circle by lowering your shoulders back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat the motion in a slow, rhythmic pattern while maintaining consistent breathing.
