How to Perform
- Sit or stand tall with your shoulders relaxed and your gaze fixed straight ahead.
- Reach your left hand behind your back or grip the bottom of your chair to keep the left shoulder pinned down.
- Gently rotate your head forty-five degrees to the right so your nose is pointing toward your right armpit.
- Slowly tilt your chin downward toward your chest as if looking into your right front pocket.
- Place your right hand on the back of your head and apply very light pressure to deepen the stretch.
- Hold this position for thirty seconds while maintaining deep, steady nasal breathing.
- Release the tension slowly and return your head to the neutral starting position.
Common Mistakes
